Document Management
Document management functionality is provided throughout the ProCon application as described above in each of the functional modules. In addition to this the ProCon Reference Library provides a web-based central repository and management area for documents, templates and questionnaires.
- Central File Repository - to enable the central storage of shared documents for all users of ProCon, a web-based central file repository is provided where authorised users can access documents (of any type permitted by configuration) with the fully support of on-line editing and versioning functionality.
- Document Templates - users with adequate permissions (such as super users) have the ability to design and make available to other users a range of standard document representing organisation/project specific pro-form document templates, boilerplate contract templates and intelligent documents that are automatically populated with key contract and tender information when utilised
- Online Questionnaires - to allow the creation of a bank of standard questionnaires for use during pre-qualification, the reference library provides the flexibility for authorised ProCon users to design questionnaires for completion by suppliers during pre-qualification processes.
- Automatic generation of configurable referencing conventions.
- Ability to create in real-time, populated Word documents for each contract activity.
Additional functionality includes:-
- Reference library items can be accessed and utilised in all tendering and contracting activities.
- Accessible using standard Internet browser.
- Public access interface for access to document library only.
- Ability to build and manage document templates from library of common document template items (clauses).
- Browser based add-on (ActiveX Control) provides rich functionality allowing cut and paste, drag and drop and integration with MS Office suite.
