BP Selects 8over8’s Contract Management Solution for BP’s Programme of Projects in Angola

8over8 Ltd. has been selected to provide its contract management solution, ProCon, to BP’s programme of projects in Angola. Contingent upon successful implementation in Angola’s projects, BP may decide to roll the solution out to other capital projects in BP’s Exploration & Production Segment.
ProCon from 8over8 is a web-based contract management solution that facilitates effective contract management during capital projects between owners, contractors and partners.

August 2007, Calgary, Canada. 8over8 announces that it has signed an Enterprise Wide Software Agreement with Nexen Inc. The agreement cements 8over8′’s relationship with Nexen who were already using ProCon in its UK and Calgary offices. ProCon will now be made available to the rest of the Nexen Enterprise.

December 2006 Shell engages 8over8. Shell International Exploration and Production has engaged 8over8 to add value to its global C&P best practice toolkit for capital projects. 8over8 recently gained independent product certification from VeriTest for it’s ProCon contract management solution. The platform tests for Independent Software Vendors (ISV) are intended for software solutions that run on Windows Server 2003, and leverage the latest Microsoft Office 2003, SQL Server 2000 or 2005, the .NET Framework, and/or XML web services.

December 2006 saw 8over8′’s CEO Clare Colhoun make a number of visits to major oil and gas operators in the Middle East. During her visit Ms. Colhoun attended the GasTech Conference in Abu Dhabi. Ms. Colhoun stated “This region and our customers are an important part of our business strategy, and we plan to make additional investment to build on our recent success in the Gulf”
8over8 is hosting a 2 day ProCon Strategy Forum on Monday September 18th and Tuesday September 19th 2006.
The invitees are senior representatives from the Oil and Gas Industry, all of whom have chosen ProCon as their Contract Management Solution. 8over8 has undertaken a significant in-house Product Roadmap. The Regional Supplies Service has awarded 8over8 the contract to provide online eNegotiation Services via its ProCon hub. The contract sees 8over8 project managing a series of eAuction and online bidding events linked to the schedule of purchasing until March 2008.
The Regional Supplies Service is the sole provider of professional supplies services which include logistics, contracting and procurement to all Northern Ireland Health and Social Services Trusts and Agencies.

Clare Colhoun, CEO of 8over8, visited the huge Karachaganak oil field and met with senior KPO executives. At first hand Clare saw how 8over8′’s ProCon system was helping KPO manage the contractual committments of the plant in operation. Her visit also afforded her the opportunity to meet with KazMunaiGas representaives.
8over8′’s corporate website has been updated and re-branded. New features include a customer log in area and a request for information section. The website design, layout and production was delivered by Lairdesign, Omagh.
Continuing on the success of ProCon in KPO, the third phase of the massive condensate field, which sees huge investment in drilling, gas handling facilities and gas re-injection trains, has finalised the implementation of ProCon. The system will be used in the FEED and future stages of the project.
8over8 today added to its multi lingual capabilities of ProCon. ProCon is now available in Russian which is an important milestone in 8over8′’s plans to deliver solutions to oil & gas operators and contractors in Russian speaking markets. A central challenge in managing contracts is managing the relationships between the parties to the contract and this is enhanced when contracting parties can use their native language. Russian speaking contractors seeking to do business with oil and gas operators that use ProCon can now register and get complete RFI and Pre Qualification templates in their native language.
TNK-BP and 8over8 reached an important milestone in their relationship when TNK-BP went live with ProCon powered Supplier Relationship Portal.

8over8 continues its expansion into other oil and gas rich markets and forms a partnership with Mawahib Business Developments in Abu Dhabi. MBD will act as a marketing and consulting partner for 8over8′’s flagship ProCon offering.
The scheduled release of ProCon 5.2 will include a new module launching a broad range of new ProCon functionality designed to allow authorised ProCon users to design and deploy on-line interactive questionnaires for the purposes of managing, recording and auditing the supplier registration and pre-qualification process as well as the on-going management of contractor information and performance audits.
8over8′’s Middle East Regional Manager Mr. Keith Langford leads an 8over8 trade delegation to Kuwait City. 8over8 is seeking to expand its presence in the Middle East and hopes to further develop partnership opportunities previously identified.
8over8 secured an order for ProCon from Petrofac in Moscow. Petrofac is managing the Kovykta Regional Gas Project on behalf of Rusia Petroleum and East Siberian Gas Company (ESGCo) both of which are part owned by TNK-BP. The Project consists of 645 km of pipeline that will extend from the new central processing facilities at Kovykta to the region’’s capital, Irkutsk, with first gas scheduled to be delivered to consumers before the end of 2006. The total project investment being managed by Petrofac amounts to approximately US$ 1.2 billion.

The Olokola LNG joint venture, which has been using ProCon for the past year in Pre-FEED, took the decision to widen the roll out of ProCon across the project in FEED. ProCon has been used for tender management and contract post award control. Future tenders and contracts will be managed through ProCon.
OKLNG, a four partner operated joint venture, is a 4-train, 22 mtpa plant which will produce 33 million tonnes of LNG per annum. The project will consist of three phases, with the first phase (two trains) producing 11 million tonnes per annum by 2008. The other two trains will follow shortly thereafter. The project partners are Shell, BG-Group, Chevron and NNPC.

Nexen Inc, Calgary Canada went live this month with 8over8′’s ProCon contract management system. Nexen initiated using ProCon to manage its contracts when Nexen’’s Buzzard project- the largest find in the North Sea in fifteen years- successfully engaged with ProCon. Nexen plans to use ProCon to manage its contracts across the globe.
