8over8 Limited, the leading supplier of Contract Management Software Solutions for the Oil and Gas capital projects sector has confirmed its sponsorship and participation in KIOGE 2009, the 17th International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference which is taking place in Almaty, Kazakhstan from the 6-8 October 2009.

KIOGE is the single most important industry event in the region and comprises an exhibition and conference over three days. The event has helped introduce more than 5,000 companies into the market, many of which are now successfully run businesses.

8over8 are involved in proceedings in two ways. On Tuesday 6th October they will host the Pre-Conference workshop entitled “Enabling Electronic Contracting for Oil and Gas Projects�. The workshop will be presented by Clare Colhoun, CEO, 8over8 and she will be accompanied by Adriano Molinaro from KPO. “With such mega projects ongoing in Kazakhstan the workshop will provide an opportunity for delegates to explore the use of technology across the contract lifecycle of these projects, a lifecycle which is notoriously complex and chaotic�, said Ms. Colhoun.

The main conference kicks off on Wednesday 7th October and will gather together in excess of 1000 oil and gas professionals to provide a high level forum for open, balanced and independent discussions and an in-depth analysis of the current oil and gas trends in the Kazakh and Caspian region. Gerry Mc Gurgan, Director at 8over8 will take to the stage on day one to discuss “Using Technology to Manage Capital Contracting Risks�.
