ProCon Product Consultant, reporting to the Programme Manager

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
8over8 Ltd. is a UK-based software and services company, whose flagship product, the ProCon Contract Lifecycle Management System is being adopted by a growing number of International Oil & Gas Companies as the standard solution for capital construction contract management. 8over8 already has an established customer base, but as a result of major recent project wins and the identification of Canada as a long-term strategic market, we are looking to establish a permanent presence in Canada to provide effective pre- and post-sales support to current and potential customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role has two facets: 1.) implementation of ProCon into new Canadian customers and 2.) front-line support and optimisation of existing implementations.
1. ProCon Implementations
a. Participate in business process design workshops with 8over8 Customers to capture functional requirements based on definition of customer business processes and workflows
b. Configure the ProCon application based on a documented Functional Specification compiled by an 8over8 Business Analyst and agreed with the Customer
c. Work directly with Lead and End Users to optimise the configuration and use of the system
d. Manage user acceptance testing of the configured system
2. Customer Support
a. Provide first line support to Canada-based customers to resolve queries and manage the customer change request pipeline
b. Work with the UK-based Customer Support Team to resolve customer queries requiring 2nd Line Support
c. Carry out quarterly Health Checks of customer systems to determine application usage patterns

TERMS
Working hours: 09h00 - 17h30 when office-based; determined by project requirements when on customer site.
Place of work: Initially home-based, moving to a permanent base in Calgary. Frequent travel to customer sites in Canada; some travel to customer sites in US.
Salary: Dependent on experience. Company bonus scheme based on achievement of individual and company targets; performance and salary reviewed annually.
